Martin Snyder

Estate Planning Attorney

A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing. This is especially true in an area of law such as estate planning. Without the advice of an experienced lawyer, the secure future you want for your family can be compromised by failing to understand the legal issues fully or the best options available, or by trying to apply a solution that is not right for your needs.

Like doctors, lawyers tend to focus their practice. At the law office of Martin W. Snyder, LLC, we limit our law practice to estate planning, probate (estate administration) and trust administration. We do this so we can provide you the best possible service. We have offices in Frederick and Rockville in Maryland.

Since graduating from law school, attorney Martin W. Snyder has devoted his professional life to helping people plan and protect their estates, and assisting those administering an estate or trust after the loss of a loved one. Prior to entering the private practice of law, Mr. Snyder provided services to a broad range of clientele as a trust adviser with wealth management companies. Today he serves clients of all income and asset levels.

When you hire our firm, you will receive personal attention from Mr. Snyder, a lawyer with decades of experience. His experience enables him to analyze your situation and tailor solutions to meet specific goals such as minimization of taxes, protection of a beneficiary’s inheritance, avoidance of probate, planning for disability and planning to minimize the nontax costs of transferring your property to your loved ones through a revocable living trust or other probate avoidance strategies. He also counsels Personal Representatives and Trustees to ensure they comply with the extensive laws and procedures involved with administering estates and terminating trusts. The exposure to myriad circumstances over the course of his career enables Mr. Snyder to offer tried and true solutions.
